Teen Adventure Program 2025

RAFT • CLIMB • BACKPACK

The Mountain Center is excited to present the Summer 2025 Teen Adventure Program, open to New Mexico youth, ages 13 - 17. This year, we’ll be offering three sessions, each with a different focus: Whitewater Rafting, Rock Climbing, or Backpacking. Participants can expect to practice technical skills in these activities, while developing a variety of tools useful for navigating the challenges of everyday life, including relationship-building, leadership, and self-esteem. Each session is comprised of five day programs and a 3-4 day overnight camping trip.

HOW IT'S PAID FOR

The program is free to all participants because of special grant funding by CYFD. As a non-profit organization we rely on generous donations from the community to transform lives and build resilience in the groups we work with. If you are able, we encourage you to support The Mountain Center, in any amount possible. You can make a one time donation, or partner with TMC and sign up for an automated monthly donation.

We accept cash and check donations in the main office.

Thank you for your support!

FEEDBACK FROM PARENTS

Enjoyed being outdoors, physical activity, they were encouraged to express feelings in a meaningful and respectful way. Most importantly, they had fun, played with old friends and made new friends too.
